The customer forwards voicemail emails to a managed mailbox. Speech2Mail monitors that mailbox and returns the processed result.
Both methods can produce transcription, summary, analysis, and contact details depending on the customer template.
Use SMTP direct when the PBX or VoIP platform can be configured to send voicemail email to Speech2Mail. Use IMAP when forwarding to a mailbox is easier or when you do not control the customer phone system email route.
