Try Speech2Mail free

Forward a voicemail email with its audio attachment to demo@speech2mail.com. Speech2Mail will process the message and return the transcription and analysis to the email address that forwarded it. For live accounts, one or more mailboxes can forward voicemail emails automatically.

How the free demo works

  1. Find a voicemail email from your phone system that includes the voicemail audio file.
  2. Forward that email to demo@speech2mail.com.
  3. Speech2Mail reads the attached audio, transcribes it, and analyzes the voicemail content.
  4. The result is emailed back to the address that forwarded the voicemail email.
  5. For a live account, one or more mailboxes can use auto-forwarding rules so future voicemail emails are sent automatically.

Speech2Mail demo vs. generic speech-to-text demos

Generic speech-to-text demos are useful for testing raw audio transcription. Speech2Mail is different because it is built around the real voicemail-to-email workflow: a phone system, voicemail provider, or mailbox rule sends a voicemail email with an audio attachment, and Speech2Mail turns that voicemail into a readable email workflow.

  • Test a real voicemail email instead of only uploading a loose audio file.
  • See how voicemail transcription fits into inbox-based business workflows.
  • Use the same idea later with SMTP forwarding, IMAP mailbox intake, or email auto-forwarding rules.

For individuals with voicemail email

If your phone provider already sends voicemail recordings to your inbox, you do not need a PBX project. A live Speech2Mail account can work with email auto-forwarding rules so new voicemail emails from one or more mailboxes are automatically sent for transcription and analysis.

  • Good for personal lines, small business owners, solo professionals, and mobile workers
  • Works when voicemail emails include an audio attachment
  • Keeps the workflow simple: voicemail arrives, the rule forwards it, Speech2Mail transcribes and analyzes it, and the result returns to the forwarding address

Can I forward my voicemail email somewhere?

Yes. That is one of the main Speech2Mail workflows. If your carrier, phone app, PBX, VoIP provider, hosted phone service, or voicemail service already sends voicemail recordings by email, a live Speech2Mail account gives you an intake address where those voicemail emails can be forwarded for automatic transcription and analysis.

Multiple mailboxes can forward emails that contain voicemail audio files. Speech2Mail returns the completed transcript, summary, and analysis to the email address that forwarded each voicemail email. For a quick demo, forward an English voicemail email with its audio attachment to demo@speech2mail.com.

Intake model 1: SMTP forwarding

Your PBX, VoIP platform, or voicemail system sends voicemail emails directly to Speech2Mail. This is the preferred setup when your phone system can route voicemail email to an external address.

  • Fast setup for many PBX and hosted VoIP systems
  • Works well for MSPs and telecom resellers managing multiple customers
  • Keeps the voicemail-to-email workflow familiar for users

Intake model 2: IMAP mailbox

Speech2Mail monitors a dedicated mailbox where voicemail emails arrive. This is useful when direct SMTP routing is not practical or when a managed intake mailbox is easier for the customer.

  • Good fallback when PBX routing options are limited
  • Supports managed mailbox setup for customer voicemail intake
  • Useful for staged migrations and simpler customer onboarding
